1. Information We Collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We use this information to create and manage your account.

We also collect:

  • Competitor URLs and monitor configurations you create
  • Scraped website content (text and screenshots) from publicly available pages
  • AI-generated analysis of detected changes
  • Usage data (pages visited, features used) via Vercel Analytics
  • Notification preferences and settings

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain the Service
  • Authenticate your identity and manage your account
  • Group users into organizations based on email domain
  • Send notifications about detected changes (in-app and email)
  • Send daily email digests (when enabled)
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Improve the Service and fix issues

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate ChatterBlend:

  • Google OAuth — for authentication
  • Supabase — for database hosting and file storage (hosted in the US)
  • ScrapingBee — for rendering and capturing web pages
  • Anthropic (Claude) — for AI-powered change analysis
  • Stripe — for payment processing
  • Resend — for email delivery
  • Vercel — for hosting and analytics
  • Inngest — for background job orchestration

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL database and object storage), hosted in secure data centers. We use Row-Level Security policies to ensure organization-level data isolation. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.

Screenshots and scraped content are stored for the lifetime of your account to enable historical comparison and change tracking.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (Supabase session tokens) and theme preference. We do not use third-party tracking cookies. Vercel Analytics uses privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics.

6. Data Retention

Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days. Scraped content and change history associated with your organization will also be deleted.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and data
  • Export your data
  • Opt out of email notifications at any time

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
